Yes No Liability Waiver * I release STEAM Scholars Tutoring, LLC and its staff from any liability for injuries or accidents that may occur during the workshop, except in cases of gross negligence. Yes No Terms & Conditions * By booking a session with STEAM Scholars Tutoring, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read carefully before proceeding with your booking. 1. Service Overview STEAM Scholars Tutoring provides educational services in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (collectively “STEAM”). These services are intended to supplement students’ academic development. By enrolling, you acknowledge that STEAM Scholars Tutoring is not a substitute for professional educational or therapeutic services but is designed as an academic enhancement tool. 2. Booking and Payment * Booking: All sessions must be booked in advance. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. * Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking. Payments can be made via provided payment platforms, such as Venmo or any additional methods as specified. * Cancellation Policy: If a session is canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, the payment for that session is non-refundable. Cancellations with more than 24 hours' notice may qualify for a rescheduled session at STEAM Scholars Tutoring’s discretion. 3. Attendance and Timeliness * Punctuality: Please ensure timely attendance for all sessions. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session with no adjustment in fees. * Absences: If a student misses a session without prior notification, it will be considered a “no-show,” and no refund or reschedule will be provided. 4. Code of Conduct STEAM Scholars Tutoring expects all participants to adhere to respectful and cooperative behavior standards. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in termination of the session or tutoring arrangement, with no refund for any remaining sessions. 5. Privacy and Data Protection * Confidentiality: All student information is kept confidential and is used solely to support academic progress within the tutoring program. * Parental Involvement: Parents or guardians are encouraged to communicate with tutors regarding their child's progress. However, student-tutor interactions during sessions are prioritized to maintain focus on academic goals. 6. Limitations of Liability STEAM Scholars Tutoring shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the tutoring services, including but not limited to academic outcomes, disciplinary actions, or other educational consequences. 7. Changes to Terms & Conditions STEAM Scholars Tutoring reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued enrollment in or use of our services after any such changes indicates your acceptance of the modified terms.
